| Mayor Welcome On behalf of the City of Grenada, Mississippi let me extend to all visitors a warm and special welcome to our beautiful city. We are home to beautiful Grenada Lake, Dogwoods Public Golf Course, Camp McCain Military Base, Holmes Community College, Churches, Restaurants, 700 plus Motel Rooms, Automobile Dealerships, Airport, Industrial Park, Industries, Antebellum Homes, Historic District, Yellow Fever Cemetery, Coca Cola, and History Museums, Antique Shops, Banks, Medical facilities, many retail businesses, and a beautiful downtown area. Grenada is home for the National Fox Hunter Field Trial, and many crappie fish tournaments. Grenada is a retirement community, and a member of Tree City USA. We are located 75 minutes from four major universities.
Also, we are located off Interstate Highway 55 mid-way between Memphis, Tennessee and Jackson, Mississippi (90 miles to Memphis, 110 miles to Jackson). Come visit our growing and progressive city.
