Comprehensive Water Infrastructure Mapping for Resilient Growth

Project Overview
The City of Grenada is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to conduct a comprehensive GIS mapping and condition assessment of the City’s water distribution system. Small, minority-owned, and DBE firms are strongly encouraged to apply.

Funding Source
This project is funded by the Delta Regional Authority (DRA) and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local procurement and reporting requirements.

Scope of Work

  • Field verification of water lines, valves, hydrants, and meters
  • Development of a centralized GIS database
  • Identification of high-risk and flood-prone areas
  • Training City staff for long-term system maintenance

Budget Range
The anticipated project budget is $75,000–$100,000. Proposals should be scoped accordingly.

DBE & Small Business Participation
Participation by DBE, minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses is strongly encouraged, consistent with Mississippi and DRA guidelines.

Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, technical approach, understanding of City needs, cost effectiveness, and ability to meet schedule.

Mississippi Compliance Certifications
The selected firm must comply with all Mississippi procurement laws and submit required certifications, including non-collusion, equal opportunity, debarment, and DBE disclosure forms
